In a society that is constantly producing, consuming, and flying through trends that won’t be remembered next month, we lose the value of handmade, slow fashion. Handmade is sustainable. Handmade is traditional. Handmade is thoughtful. Buying something handmade not only makes you cool, but it also supports the maker in ways you may not realize. It gives them a creative outlet, a way to create for others and for themselves. It provides the maker with new excitement for their craft, and, obviously, helps fund their creativity. So, this is me telling you to be cool and support small businesses.
